whilst driving along earlier (a straight road on a 60 zone) doing about 50mph I suddenly noticed movement from the hedge up ahead.
We slowed down, and this girl on a big bay (probably about 16.2hh) walked straight out, expecting us to stop, and walked infront of the car to get to the other side! Had we been going any faster, or had we not seen the movement from the hedge, we'd have certainally have had a near miss

What made it worse was that she was doing something on her mobile phone, so had one hand on the reins and her head down. No Hi viz either....

As we passed (slowly) I shook my head at her and she pulled a face at me. I truly believe she didnt think she'd done anything wrong!
