Sometimes I wonder about my beautiful girl. We were walking home this evening, on the home stretch, she is striding out as usual, keen to get back and of course not looking where she is going. There was a flattened paper cup on the road and she managed to slide her hoof in.

We left the road, all four feet at once with her flicking out her front hoof to get the deadly cup off her toe. Cup went flying into the air straight into the face of the just broken 4 yr old TB we were bringing out on her first hack!!!

oooh lucky 4 yo! When my old horse was 4 I took him for his first hack with a very sensible friend. Everything was fine except there was a dog in the garden down the road barking at us. The other horse walked past, but was spooky and making a fuss. From then on my little man always snorted going past the house dog or no dog he thought it was the house that was scary!
