I'd go along with this. When Kali knows that he's bottom of the herd, he's much calmer all round - but when he either feels alone or that he has to man up, he is much, much more spooky.

Don't hold your breath - it may not happen, due to the amount of points he has. There's a long way to go before either us are fit enough and tuned enough to go out and do him justice at the level he has to compete at!
 
Slightly later update than planned, as I managed to lose his girth, so couldn't ride him last weekend! Went out today and he was fab - it was mega windy, so he spooked at a few things that were perfectly reasonable to spook at, but just felt jolly and happy to be out. We did have a hacking buddy, although she struggled a bit to keep up, so wasn't really in a position to nanny him through any dragon spotting moments!
