Stupid question re: skull cap covers...

I bought a new hat today, a Charles Owen Pro II Skull which I am going to keep just for competing. I have a big head

so it is a size 2 1/2 and they have given me a medium ventilated skull cap cover to go with it

Just wondering how you position your skull cap covers? I have looked on the CO website and it isnt that helpful

- do you leave a 'bare' bit at the front or not?

oooh, i have a charles owen pro II too! i leave about an inch and a half at the front, and flip the peak up... cos that's how the girl in the ad does it.

however, mine falls off WAY too often. i was thinking about sticking it down...!

I have a CO J3, in a size 3!! The 'bare bit' is at the front - hat came with the silk on, and I've never moved it!

PMSL at some of the replies here - I am especially loving the 'big head = big brain' idea, I shall remember that for future reference and not get embarrassed any more

I think I need a large cover rather than a medium, but I have just about replicated the photo now

The shop put the damn thing on for me, then took it off to show me another one..... noooooo

Hah, your head isn't big at all - I've just ordered my new hat in a size 4 1/2! I originally ordered it in a 3 1/2, then had to send it back cuz it was too small - got the 4, also too small - so I'm praying that when the 4 1/2 arrives it's big enough, because that's the biggest size they do! :S I hate having a massive head. I found a really cool sunhat the other day and I couldn't buy it because it wouldn't fit me. Big brains indeed.
