stupid question...???

Hi, I'm from the US, currently living in the UK and I'm wondering what the differences in levels in dressage and combined training are... for instance in US dressage it's intro, training, first, second, third, fourth, prix st. georges, intermediare (or maybe the other way around... lol!), grand prix, and in combined training it's elementary, beginner or pre- novice, novice, training, prelim, intermediate, advanced... anyway, what are the equivalent levels in the UK?

We start dressage at Prelim, novice, elementary, medium, advanced medium, advanced, then I believe it's prix st georg, intermediare and grand prix, but beyond advanced is way out of my aim at the mo so I've lost touch with the top levels. We also have restricted and open levels, the professionals are open and supposedly the amatuers are restricted unless we win certain points and then we have to compete with the professionals. All good fun though but havn't a clue re the combined training, sorry.

It's not exactly the same for eventing but I believe Novice is the equivalent of Prelim, with PN being close to Training. I think there are unaffiliated levels under that (like unrecognised level in NA) but I don't know if they are consistent. Then everything else is the same.

I'm still trying to sort out the equivalent dressage levels . . .
