Horses were due to go out 24/7 this weekend but as the weather has been so wet this week they are going to have to stay in for another week.

I know its only another week but I feel that I have been mucking out two stables everyday for ever.

Its rained here for a week non stop! Have gone from chasing ponies round field as they dont want to come in due to grass starting to grow to shivering ponies standing at gates.

We are desperate for rain down here too. We had some today but the ground just soaked it straight up. It rained onee last Monday (11 days ago) for an hour or so and thats all we have had. Our fields are rock hard

Bathed mine today for Ayr Show, rain came on as I was doing so. Didn't want to turn her out in the field again due to the mud so turned her out in the school to stretch her legs and the stuff the school is made from all stuck to her legs because it was so wet!
 
Are theyrunning the Ayr show? THey have cancelled the Kilmacolm show due to the weather - this is unheard of!!

For those of you having to feed hay due to grass not growing, we'll all be on to hay soon enough due to grass having turned to mud!
 
i have been going to kilmacolm for 20 odd years and have never heard of it been canceled how frustrating is this weather. i have brought my lot back in at night as fields are so wet and they are misreable. i also had to go and buy a rug for my new born foal grrr i hate this weather
 
This weather is sh1te! Had a ODE tomorrow (my youngsters first one) and it's been rained off!

Fair enough our fields are waterlogged and horses are up to their knees in mud... will be complaining that it's too dry in a couple of months time i bet!!
