I've got a couple of trugs I feed my lad in but they are not sturdy enough, they have been kicked around the stable & are all out of shape. I don't want a feed skip made from tyre rubber. I have seen the one I want but don't know where to get it from. It's a much thicker trug with a thick rim around it & it's got the name 'Stadium' on the bottom.

Can anyone tell me where I can get these from please, everywhere I've been has only got the thin trugs.

ohh can i have the link too? my cob keeps trashing tub trugs, he stands on them on a nightly basis, he can even get his water trug out of three tyres and then end up laid on it, im on my third in 3 months!!!

I have both

The Rhino's are better as they are nice size and don't flop over (my poor tub trugs are very out of shape)

The only downside is that a horse can stamp on them and it does take a bit of effort to put them back!!

The link is:

I went to my local builders merchants & bought a couple of black 22 litre tubs. They are very similar to the normal trugs but they are roughly double the thickness. They cost me £4.30p inc vat each. I'm pleased....I'll try them this evening & see what shape they're in in the morning.

Katy & Joanne, I've PM'd you the link aswell.

if he's anything like mine, tyres dont work, my cobs worked out he can empty the contents with splashing his leg in the water then picking it up with his teeth! before squashing it and pooing on it!!

UPDATE:
The new trug has worked fine, he still empties it on the floor, still throws it about like a toy when he'd finished eating but it has kept it's shape so I'm very pleased with it.
