Last week i posted about a horse who I went to see and was lovely, but I really wasn't sure about. Well, I went to try him again today, and I am in love.
Brought a very experienced friend who is certainly not as easily smitten as me
and she liked him too.
I put on a little pair of spurs today (as owner suggested- didn't use them last time) and he was a dream- pinging everything out of a rhythm (mostly, see pic below
) and being really genuine when I put him on a numpty stride. Then took them off, BP on, and went over some XC jumps they had nearby- he was just great.

Parents have done the necessary negotiation, vetting is taking place this week and subject to that I'll have him at the end of next week!
(would be sooner but I have an ODE on current horse this weekend so wouldn't have the necessary time to spend on settling him in!!
)
No proper photos I'm afraid as Dad is not that able when it comes to working his shiny new Blackberry's camera
but I do have a token comedy shot of horsey taking a flyer and rider employing her emergency backwards seat
Slightly better one:
Fingers crossed for vetting.
PS. No comment on rider please, it's not me
