Success. Mare in foal

My little broodmare has been scanned in foal today.

Yipee

I am sooo excited!
We were beginning to get a bit worried as she kept returning in season, so we had her scanned to see if she needed washing out or something and low and behold the little star is pregnant, she obviously enjoyed her "little meetings" with the stallion so much she wanted to keep on seeing him!

!!she has actually held to her first covering! naughty little mare!

We were also worried as she is 14 and has never done anything and isnt broken in so it was basically have a baby or else!

We are so proud of our little boy and girl as they are both "first timers!"

oooh you lucky thing. I have another week to wait for Rose's scan and I'm not at all hopeful cos of fluid. Fingers crossed

congrats!!......you are lucky my mare was scanned on 16th not in foal..........she gets another go at the stallion!!

.....think thats why she never caught as they could not find any reason for it.......my mare is a bit of a tart though!!
