Yes, you only need one. I have the heavier mats and they are still tricky to move with just one person but with this tool you get a solid grip and a handle which makes it so much easier.

I just flip them in half and put a rope through the middle. Great use for all those old lead ropes that will never have another job!

At DIy stores are D clamps..bout a fiver each..I use those to move mats.

This is what i do. I have a broken lunge rein for the job. Moving them like this makes them surprisingly light too, Ibe no idea why, but it works!
