Sudchondral bone cysts

Has anyone any experience of subchondral bone cysts. My 5 yo has been diagnosed with one on her distal radius.
The treatment options I have been offered are corticosteroid injection locally and Tildren or artroscopic surgery.
I'd love to hear of any similiar cases.

I had a welsh with one. Sorry to say that He had the injections and was ok with a very lightweight rider hacking etc but never really recovered fully enough to compete regularly altho has done the occassional fun ride and small jumps But too much would make him lame again. The only good thing was that the lameness would soon disappear with rest.

Sorry if that's obviously not what you wanted to hear. This was nearly 10 years ago so hopefully things are better now

I do think treatment has improved recently so I hope she will return to competing. my vet says she should do but I may need to slow things down a bit.
Perissa, IRAP hasn't been mentioned for her but I will enquire about it.
