my old pony has a large lump/growth on one side of her neck and onto her windpipe. its large, the size of a melon and solid. i haven't noticed it till tonight so must have come on very quickly, tho she is extremely hairy so might have been difficult to see when smaller. she's eating and drinking fine so vets are coming out tomorrow instead of tonight but have said it could be an agressive internal melanoma (she is grey and has a few already) or a thyroid issue. they have said both are serious and given her agre and the lumps position i may face a difficult decision. anyone shed any light? she is belived to have cushings as well but otherwise in good health. :-(
