I've only had my mare for a week and so far she seems happy to go forward out on a hack or in the school. I think she may be in season and today I tried a different girth on her. When we went in to the school she walked round ok at first and then she kept stopping and at one point she pawed the ground as if wanting to roll. No signs of colic and not obviously lame when trotted up without tack. Saddler coming next week - any thoughts please?
