Afternoon all
I wonder if i could ask your advice, on Saturday me and my friend hacked my horses on an hour and half ride and towards the end i started to think my mare which my friend was riding looked stiff but not lame.
Yest i decided to trot her up and asked someone more experienced for a second opinion.
He thought my mare was about 1/10th lame on her right hind leg but there was no heat, swelling/bruised soles or anything which could explain the lameness.
The said mare is a 10yr old tb who is very fit and not had any issues of lameness with past owner or with me and passed a 5 stage vetting only a few months ago.
we agreed to trot her up again tonight at the same time to see if this had improved/got worse/no change before calling the vet.
Any ideas what could be causing this?
