Sudocrem banned?

I've heard that sudocrem is a banned substance by BE and BSJ (and probably other competing organisations), or at least it used to be, as it contains benzyl benzoate. However I've heard rumours that it is no longer banned - is this true? If it is still banned, what are some alternatives? I normally zinc oxide spray or silver ointment for nicks, rug rubs and so on, but sudocrem seems a bit more 'solid' and protective, if you know what I mean, as well as being less expensive (for minor injuries anyway!)
 
Thanks, I forgot to mention that I've also used botanica cream and wash, and it's worked great - is sudocrem still banned though?
 
None of the ingredients for Sudocrem are on the 2016 FEI list of banned substances, as far as I can tell. I'm fairly sure (have a terrible memory) that we were using it on a showjumper that competed internationally between 2014 and 2015. In fact, I'm sure Sudocrem was our "safe" option, as we had other creams which worked better but contained steroids.

Who knows, I suppose it works its way into the bloodstream somehow... I can see the point of random drug testing at events but it is a pain - and yes I'm sure people at the lower levels aren't going to be up to anything!

The rumour that sudocreme is or has been banned goes around every so often. Just one of those things.
 
I have a tub of sudo crem that Ive had for quite a while that has benzyl benzoate in it, but bought a tube recently Sudocrem Care and Protect and that hasnt
