suede on a rope

this is probably a really easy question, but ive never done one so im going to ask so i dont screw it up. how do you make thoses suede stable toy things? with the rope going through the middle of a suede???

i just leave a whole swede in O's stable at night, he has hours of fun with it xD

I take it you are talking about a turnip

I used to just put the 'turnip' in the stable and let my pony kick it round the stable while trying to eat it. If its on a rope I would be scared that it could hit him in the head.

I tend to get a screw driver (be really careful) and wedge it through the middle.Put a big knot in one end of baling twine and run the string through- attach to a tie up ring or similar- My horse DEVORS a suede in about 2 mins flat!! good luck

Sorry, its just in Scotland we call the big yellow thing a turnip and the white ones suedes!

You don't really get those little things in scotland.

Once my OH bought them when I asked him to buy neeps & tatties for a haggis dinner. I had never seen them before!

Up north the orange and purple ones are called Turnips whereas down south they are called Swedes.

I just chuck one on the the ground and they kick it about and eat it, I'd probably stab myself if I tried to get a rope through it lol. And its a turnip

We use a electric drill to make a hole in the middle

Slice the end / top off the swede so it will sit still on a flat surface, then use an apple corer.
