Bought 2 pairs of full seat suede jods. One cream (showing) and an everyday navy pair. The navy have been washed 3 times on a 30º cycle with non bio. They look to have faded already and the suede hss bobbled already! There loveson ones.
Am I doing something wrong or do they always wash rubbish?

I've only got one pair, Caldene ones, and I've washed them a few times, they've just started to go a bit bobbly, think its just what they do? :)

All of mine have a full suede seat and none have gone bobbly. The Shires Saddlehuggers ones have gone quite smooth, not v sticky anymore. The rest are Dublin, Just Togs (I think..without going to look) and Tally Ho. All are still fine. The knees are going in the Dublin ones as they're a few years old but the suede still looks OK. Bit bobbly but not that I've really noticed it. I wash mine in bio, non-bio and at either 30 or 40deg.

I have HKM ones with a pretend suede seat (the ALOS seat ones) and they wash absolutely brilliantly. Still look new. I really can't recommend them enough. I got both my pairs off fleabay, brand new, for £40.

Everyone tells me how smart they are and the seat is seriously sticky. All in all a win if you ever want another pair :)

You shouldn't use fabric softener on full seat jods. Not sure of the reason but none of mine have gone bobbly. I also use non Bio powder and never put them in the drier.
