Aw, she's lovely! The mask picture has just reminded me of when a child getting a lesson at the yard I'm at saw my sister's horse in the mask, and asked his mum, "Who is the horses with none eyes?". :D

Lovely pics!- what a kind looking horse!- I must admit I did laugh at the last pic though as I assume to hay bale is on the roof rack of the car? as the way the horse is standing it looks like it is on your horses back!!

She is very kind. perfect novice horse

What a lovely big girl, I do like Suffolks. When I bought Western tack for Cairo Clydesdale, I was able to get it all off the peg apart from the bit which I had to have made for me in the US. It cost about £70 and I had it made with short shanks as he didn't need that much in the way of brakes.

Hacking a heavy horse in a western saddle is probably the most comfortable way of riding you will ever find.

I dont like the bit she came with and we have ordered her a large PeeWee and will see how she goes in that. She has a big fleashy mouth so is always opening it to evade the straigh bar.

I am all for the comfort me! no rising trot woohoo :D
