yes i feed beet pulp al the time and as long as its mushy its fine to eat!

If you like to feed sugarbeet, why not buy speedi beet, it only needs to be soaked for 10 minutes, although I like to give it an hour min.

Sugarbeet is Mollassed unlike Speedibeet. It is also less expensive compared to Speedibeet.

HMX - you can tell if sugar beet pellets are thoroughly soaked by scooping up a handful and trying to pinch the contents between your thumb and forefinger. If you can still feel little hard lumps, it needs longer, if it's all soft, it's ok.
