I think the dried stuff stores pretty well. Best bet is to make up a small batch and see what it's like- if it smells off, or has a strange texture then don't use it.

Is it mollased?

Yes - I never use it in the summer or if the weather is mild because it goes off really quickly. I wait until it gets a lot colder. Both my horses hate speedi beet and I am too lazy too soak small batches each day!

Never had a problem!!Its dried so cant see it goes off that quick, soak it and give it a smell, sure you will be fine with it!I always have beet left over from the winter before and never had a problem with it!!!As long as it has been kept in a bin were rats, mice etc cannot get to it it will be ok!!!

Hi, I had some left over from last year and wondered if it was ok to use and was told by my feed merchant that it has no sell by date, as long as there are no spores on it and it's been stored in a dry place it should be ok.
