Can't find the thread but my horse loves to chew everything - including humans!! I have lost count of the number of lead ropes I have had to buy! But I read through the thread and suggestions - one was regarding the sensitivity of the muzzle and the idea that the horse had a 'need' for this muzzle 'scratching'.... so .... for the last two days I have been gently massaging my horses muzzle and ..... he has not even attempted to 'chew' me!! Many thanks for the advice .. sorry I can't find the thread so no idea who posted but great advice!!
