Look at photos before you read (in a post lower down)

Found this today, a few days ago there was no exposed skin, you could just tell she had been rubbing the area of the (scab?). It is around her hindquarters/thigh/bum. Can't seem to find any other patches, however a few weeks ago she had a similar but smaller patch at the top of her neck, but that has now gone.

It is white, with no redness under or around so far.

Any suggestions as to what it could be?

StormyMoments - Where it is, is well covered by her rug, no rug rips or anything, she has no company in her paddock with her, only surrounding paddocks with electric fencing :/

Tapeworm can cause hair loss.
A horse on our yard had a suspected tapeworm Colic and then a couple months later had strange hair loss, was treated as ringworm, poor boy was shampooed regularly in last years snowy weather. They didn't respond to anti fungle wash and vets test not positive for ringworm.
Another horse at a similar time but from a different part of the yard also had a few bald spots and he had been tested positive for tapeworm. Then i saw an intelligent worming leaflet about tapeworm and hair loss is one of the symptoms.

We had a horse years ago that had this exact same thing, we thought it was ring worm but the vet diagnosed it as rain scald.

Although, if she is rugged and this is under the rug then I would imagine it isn't rain scald lol ;)

Not very helpful, sorry!!

Could she have reached the areas with her own teeth?

Highly doubt it as her rug also has leg straps so couldn't have pulled the rug forwards trying to get to it with her teeth and rug doesn't move as far forward to expose the patch
