I've just replaced my RaceSafe 2000 body protector with a RaceSafe 2010. Any suggestions for what to do with the old one? I have had it about 6 years (longer, I think, than I should have for safety) and am wondering what can be done with it? Can it be recycled alongside clothing?

It doesn't seem very eco-friendly to just chuck it in the bin.

Thank you :)

Bin it... It's not got much life left in it, you're meant to replace them every 5 years or so (or after a hard fall) because the foam loses its 'bounce'.

Hadn't finished dumb phone!!

Tbf ours have been grown out of so only a few years old anyway. I would think it would depend on how much it had been used really xx

I put mine on eBay described completely honestly that it was old, out of standard and not suitable for eventing but may be useful for a someone starting to learn but not yet wanting to spend out on a higher spec one.
