suggestions for riding holidays

So its been a couple of years since I rode regularly and I am ridiculously unfit and decided that I want to take a week or so off work, get away from everything and just ride. I have looked at some of the riding holiday packages on line but they all seem quite pricey, surely I can do it cheaper if I just find a good stables and book the lessons seperately but how do I find a good stables in a place I don't know. Has anyone any suggestions of good stables either in Europe or northern England would probably be far enough?

Ih looked at the yorkshire rc, not too bad was a while back though.

Don't know any holidays....but do know you will need a seatsaver! If you are not riding at the moment a riding holiday will make you awfully sore!
