I'm trying to decide what book or books to add to the puppy packs for a litter of lurchers. I'd like to try and make sure that the new owners have plenty of information to hand that will help them during the inevitable "Argh, how do puppies cause such havoc?!" situations.

Any ideas?

Thanks :)

Edited to add photo tax, sorry! Blame the lack of sleep that comes with raising a litter. Although, the mum is doing all of the really hard work, of course:

Maybe ask the pointy nosed owners on here for a compilation of tips? :p I'll start you off:
Snippet: a whippet puppy
Recall is dependant on understanding they can be gone in the time it takes you to breathe in, and the fact you're more boring than a rabbit.
The ability to self-harm is equal to your insurance excess for each condition and your stress levels
Aim to set a good example of consistent house rules, such as no climbing on furniture/beds. Accept this admirable intention will disappear in 6-12 months.
They don't necessarily need coats. You'll acquire them anyway, from the pyjamas (chilly puppies can wake up and be widdly puppies), the everyday (for shredding on fences and such) and the posh (in case you take them somewhere really boring like Badminton)
The reputation for food thievery isn't necessarily justified. Daily food disappointment face is real.
Car queasiness can be a thing. It stops being a thing when you've tried every car spot you can, and created a travelling arrangement that royalty would consider 'a bit much'
Once you've had one expensive, bony, turbo charged skinny little beast, you'll never consider any other type of dog :)

Lol, I'll tuck a list of tips into whatever book I supply, along with a list of suggested further reading materials!

I'd best pay the photo tax for this thread too:
