I have a 17.3 ISH - he's 6 years old, just about finished growing up, but still growing out....

He's quite a fussy feeder - won't eat sugar beet, doesn't like Baileys Topline cubes, not very keen on any sort of chaff (eats a certain amount, leaves the rest)

He's got a barley intolerance (if he eats feed with barley in, he gets lumps under the saddle... don't ask me why, but I've tested it and it's true...) So far as I can see, all mixes have barley in.

He's been on Spillers conditioning cubes for most of the year and has now decided he doesn't like them.

What should I feed him? I want something conditioning.

Oh, and he doesn't like A&P C&C either - it's mostly sugar beet and he can tell!

we had a simular problem with our mare (decided that she didn't like chaff anymore and came out in hives with some feeds by a well known brand)
we ended up phoning Dengie and D&H speaking to their nutritinal advisors who sent out lots of samples to try that they believed would work with my mare but avoided some of the problems
would def recomend them very helpful and interested in our problems (phoned asking for updates and gave us vouchers for there feed)

We use Top Spec Cool Condition Cubes, they are really good and don't contain cereals. We have one fussy mare who won't eat sugar beet either and she is quite happy to eat these.
