Suitable saddle suggestions....

....for a 15.2 Irish cob. She isn't massively thick set, but the Wintec wide is just a TAD 'not wide enough'......

So of course she needs a saddle that fits! I have a couple to flog to put towards the cost, but any suggestions as to suitable brands would help me out massively thank you!

GP, as we will be doing RC stuff and local shows....

Kent and Masters cob saddle. Nice quality and fit my cob very well. Changeable gulletts too so can often find a bargain on ebay.

K&M or, if on a budget, Thorowgood T4, are very good for cobs.

Kent and masters, saddle company or native saddles company are all ones I was reccomended- went with a native pony in the end for my 14hh trad. X

Higher end of market Black country saddles now do a fab range of m2m inc cob saddles

Kent and masters cob and thorowgood t4 cob have the same tree and gullets.
Recommend both.....the suede seat on the t4 is good if your horse likes throwing shapes. I have them for my Arab OH' s fat Irish mare and daughters highland.

My friend has a Saddle Company saddle for very chunky cob. He went from a thorowgood into this, and it's soooo comfortable. Also is adjustable so can be changed by a suitable saddler to fit as/when your horse changes shape.
