I am thinking of breeding my ISH next season and I was looking any recommendations on stallions standing in Ireland?

My mare is by thoroughbred Salluceva - Ideally would be for eventing or SJ, I would consider something of similar bone or slightly heavier (not loads though, more sport horse than draught type). I was told her breeding is traditional irish thoroughbred so I should stick to traditional irish? Also looking to know opinions on introducing warmblood - Limmerick, Chippison etc?

Any preferences between natural cover and AI?

Thanks for your help!

My O My is a holstein stallion now in Ireland and we had a beautiful colt by him now sold to a professional event rider. There are a few of his offspring eventing (Sharon Hunt has one) and his sire was an amazing dressage horse. His owner is called Dan O'Brien pm me forhis details if you want.

Thanks Henry, I have never heard of My Oh My but I am glad I looked him up - he's simply stunning. Also impressed by Sharon Hunt's progress on Romeo Z, she leaves quite detailed blogs on her website and he appears to be quite talented.

A definate contender.

Romeo is a super little horse. Great temperament too. He tries very hard with everything that is asked of him. Excellent recommendation from Henryhorn!

I thought I would post a picture of her incase anybody else had any suggestions on stallions in ireland...., I would like to see improvements in the legs without getting something much heavier, she can be hot but dont mind that so much.

I am interested in My Oh My but also Lougherne Connaught any other suggestions will be gratefully received
