Sum to insure for - Filly??

Hi,

I am just in the process of sorting insurance for my filly. How much should I insure her for? I really have no idea. Also any companies that people advise to use? Her mum is insured with NFU.

She is almost 5 months old, Sire - Romarnic Ranger (PBA), Dam - Murrayhall Angelique (reg Welsh Section D).

I always insure mine for the value of stud costs at least so at least I don't lose out in the worst scenario. I just do for death by illness, accident or disease, theft & stratying and in transit (3rd Party is through BHS Gold membership which saves a lot) I don't do vet fees but that's a personal decision as I have too many, if she's your one and only then I would. I'm with KBIS who are excellent.
