Summer sheet suggestions...

I need some summer sheets for my horses, but am shocked at how expensive they are!!! The Amigo one is from £32.50... the stable rugs (with filling) are not much more than that and this is just a piece of cotton!!!

Any suggestions???

Get a Mark Todd Universal sheet. Fab quality, still expensive, but nicer than just a cotton sheet!!

What sizes? Are you fussed about the colour? Ride-Away have some sizes of the Amigo summer sheet on offer at about £20, I think they're usually £29 (so not *quite* £32.50!)
If it's "just a piece of cotton" then why not try a budget version of something, like the Saxon summer sheet by Weatherbeeta, about £20 ish. As they're made by Weatherbeeta I'm sure they're of fair quality.

i just bought a Holmestead one from Badminton for £12. bought my last one from them for a tenner about 5yrs ago and it's finally falling apart, but it's well used. it's just a piece of cotton - doesn't need to be made by anyone special

Normally would agree, however the summer sheet was a perfect fit for the bigger horse.
