Hi everyone!

As we are heading into warmer days, I seem to be packing away long sleeved t-shirts and winter jodhpurs...

I have one "DUBLIN GLENCOE SHORT SLEEVE PERFORMANCE TOP" which keeps me very cool (and no sweat marks ? I know TMI).

However, this was a few years back and I am now struggling to find similar tops.

So what is your favourite technical top for the summer which keeps you cool/what shirt could you advise me to get next?

Many thanks!

I wear the lemeix base layer in summer, mainly to stop me having super tanned arms and the rest of me being bright white! Nice and cool though. Also it matches my blue theme nicely haha

We only have about 2 weeks a year when you can go without a coat as where I am seems to have its own climate. However I find an old fashioned aertex type polo shirt works well for everyday use. Fairly loose for air flow. They keep the sun off your neck and shoulders well.

If you want technical then hiking brands are cheaper than horsey ones. I have a few but the Paramo ones are my favourites for summer. I buy from their seconds store on ebay to keep it cheap. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/202652035924

They do various colours and styles, including long sleeved and zip neck.

Another vote for Noble Outfitters or Ariat.

I also double up my gym tops as horse riding tops - the technical materialwicks away sweat. Sports Direct or similiar shops always have a lot of choice :)

My favourite last summer was a Dublin one, I think it was the pavo short sleeve tech top, because it had a mesh panel down the spine.

Running t-shirts from decathlon. Much cheaper than the equestrian equivalent. I use their running tights as summer riding tights as well, Half the price and no inside seam
