Summer yard boots

I spend the summers in an old pair of Ariat Probaby Lacers I picked up at a tack sale for $10. They're great - super comfy for working, walking (including long in-hand walks when I couldn't ride), and riding. I've probably got another summer in them before the leather cracks too much to wear.

Before that I was in an old pair of Blundstones, which were great except they let hay in at the ankles. When my Ariats give up, I'll probably go back to a chelsea style boot, but one that is snugger at the ankle.

I just got a pair of these and I am enjoying them very much, the Classic ones.

I used to live in my Cabotswoods long yard boots and got on very well with them summer and winter for yard work, walking and hacking, except I can't drive in them so have decided on short ones for a wee change.

I’m over a year in with my MH boots and the soles etc are still in really good condition. No holes or damage to the leather. I treat them quite badly and just give them a once over with tack cleaner every so often 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’ve been stood on more times than I can count and haven’t been badly hurt!
