Summerhouse Report - Sat 23 Aug

Late I know!
First field car park was full before end of the BN! between 40-44 entries in the BN, 50-54 in Disc, 50-54 in 1.05m and 40-44 n NC

Was a bit tight for Summerhouse with its teeny tiny weekend warm up!

Star spotting- Nick Skelton won the discovery!!

Fat boy thin did very well, and came 3rd in BN. I couldn't wait for disco as had to go home to organise BBQ.

Guess there wasn't much on at the weekend, but I thought it might have been quieter with everyone off to scope!

Well done! Was that on your bay horse?

That is a busy day for SH though! I've heard they've extended the warm up, how big is it now?

My chap is going out on lease next week so I will be horseless all winter for once. I'm planning on getting a youngster next spring once my exams are over though, nearly there now!

Yes this was the bay horse, who is usually rubbish!

The warm up is around 12ft wider than it used to be, although if they use the area next to the portacabins to run the board then it is much better (not sure why they don't surface it though, as very muddy!!!)

How was the wedding? Will miss you at Hartpury in the winter!!

I was there on Sat and had forgotten how naf the little warm up is. Didn't realise that Nick Skelton was there! Makes me feel better for having 4faults in disco!
