Well me and song ventured back in to the world of BSJA today - and just an observation - why do they try and put every bit of sheepskin ever invented on there horses??

Well anyway mini rant over

Song was fantastic

Did the 1.05 to start warmed up over a few fences and went in and apart from rider error at the 1st which resulted in 4 faults he was fab!!

Then did the newcomers and again he was fab only had the snaffle in today with no martingale and although he was putting his head up slightly he was not rushing off like last season and was lovely and easy to get back. We again had one down as i was thinking what a lovely ride he was giving me so our canter was a little dull so just brushed the 1st part of the double but im soo pleased with him and very much up for pontispool now!!!

Also i think i was matt on the lovely grey??

Would have some pics but the vid cam is refusing to download and comes up with an error message and closes its self down everytime i try!

I was going to be cheeky and say how hard can it be to remember 11 or 12 fences but the truth is we only made it for the newcomers by the skin of our teeth and he didn't get to even watch one jump before him

he he!! He went double clear in the 1.15 open to make up for it (with help from cordy of course!) but weren't fast enough to be placed

Sounds like you had a good day! I had to smile sweetly at the organisers to let me enter the newc as there where only 2 left to go when I entered and I had yet to tack up! Its pretty hard jumping a course when you havent got a clue where your going! I went in saying wheres fence no.1!? Cordy tried really hard and didnt touch a pole dispite my bad riding!

Will you be a regular at Summerhouse bsja now then!?

but do think songs bucking his ideas up as ive threatend him to becomeing a pointer! And no matt it wasnt me i was to busy waiting for my food but cordy looks lovely and such a shame to have been given 4 for crossing ur tracks! Hopefully will be at summerhouse a bit still got my pc discount on membership!

Well as we appear to have totally lost any SJ ability we ever had, feel free to beat me by miles on Sat, I'll be expecting it!
 
Oh are we all going to Hartpury on saturday???

I am taking fat boy, as decent horse is now totally out of action all summer... so I'll be adding to the to pot and probably having poles down everywhere!!!!
 
Ah regionals - my chances are stuffed. The horse who has qualified for both BN and Disc is stuck in a stable for 6 weeks with laminitis, all because I took him to the vets to get jabbed!!!
