Sun and pink nose/eyes

I have a 8 month old JRT pup and i am bit worried about his pinky areas mainly round one of his eye and nose under the strong sunshine.... he got very pink nose and eye lid from today....

I have attempted to put kids factor 25 cream on his nose, he thought it was lolly pop and it was gone faster than i put it on! any ideas to keep it on!!! and is it safe to put it round his eye????

He comes to work with me everyday and is on the boats all day but i do try to put him in shades often as possible but he's a sun wordshipper!!!!

My Westie bitch is 15 1/2 now and has very see through fur so that her pink skin shows all the time. She has been a sun worshipper all her life and has a few moles or whatever they are called in the dog world, but never caught skin cancer and I have never used sun cream. I do know people who use sun cream on there horses pink noses.

I think you can get doggy suncream which is thicker and not rubbed off as easily
ask at vet/pet store?? or horsy suncream?

You can definately get dog sunscreen - they sell it here

sounds like he needs a sunhat!

Sudocream... use it on the cat and our JR pups..., used it on the grey horses too
