Sunscreen hating pony wwyd

Little coblet will not let me get sunscreen on her to stop her nose getting burnt, I have tried everything, was going to get a flymask with nose but I am worried about her drinking with it, will it not get wet and bother her? Wwyd?

Mine hates cream on her nose too, occasionally let's me get a smidge on if there's a treat in the other hand, but she has no problem with vaseline in ears and everywhere else the flies go. Does it smell quite strongly? I found bumbles is a lot more accepting if it doesn't smell of anything.
I did try a fly mask with the strings hanging down which works well, doesn't affect her eating or drinking and doesn't bother her. Only issue is the strings aren't attached great so they do occasionally fall out. Haven't tried with a nose flap though that might be better

UV fly mask- simple, no stress solution. It’s mesh so dries v quickly after getting wet (TBH shouldn’t be that long anyway)

Uv fly mask with nose, just mesh so they dry quickly and don’t cause irritation.

We just use a UV fly mask. We use the premier equine Lycra ones, we had them last summer too they are fab https://www.premierequine.co.uk/products/comfort-tech-xtra-lycra-fly-mask

I have 2 and wash them regularly and they wash well x

I have the Equilibriam, bad spelling, one and its quite good. Has a detatchable nose peice

Have you tried sun powder? My boy would always wipe the cream off but quite happy with the powder
