I nearly bought a 5 litre bottle of Gallop from the saddlers a couple of weeks ago, but realised that they wanted almost £30 for it! When I went to Tescos I noticed that they do 'value' shampoo for just 27p (yes that is right) for 1 litre, so I bought some thinking I would give it a try.
I have just washed my horses legs off from the field and they have come up very clean with very little shampoo or scrubbing! I can't believe how good it is. The hair has dried very shiny and silky too.
I'm not sure it would be great for getting white legs sparkly white or removing scurf from longer coats, but it certainty is worth a try, especailly for quick washes after work in the summer.
Just thought you guys might want to give it a try before buying any really expensive stuff!
