Had the best lesson today on my little cob. She's 14.1, has PSSM (managed to the enth degree by diet and exercise) and we did this.

Then my instructor popped her over 1m05!

She is absolutely fab, I love the feeling after a good lesson, you should be proud of you both! What a jump she has in her, plus I'm loving the blingy browband! :D

She has a fair pop in her! :D

How warm was it! Very jealous of your sunshine, ours has abandoned us :(
I've been freezing at 8C, fire has been roaring all day, I've been wearing fleece jackets, and the wimpy mares have had blankets on all day.

Metres mean nothing to me, I am still trying to work out what 1m05 is in feet and inches :o

Thanks. Love her so much. She got a new bridle from Blair (already had the browband but hadn't used it) :). She can jump the moon, only held back by me!

Thanks :)

She's gorgeous, what a smashing cob! :)

Thanks. I love her so much she makes me so happy :)

Thank you! It was 25c. In Scotland, last day of September! Rather unusual and I was dying from the heat! We have waited all year for this weather tho! :D

1m05 is 3 feet 5 11⁄32, according to google. Quite enormous according to me :)

Oh I love your threads about her!!!

Thank you it's nice to share with you lovely folks :)

Weeeeee!!

Very nice, indeed!

I must say, the last photo of you jumping doesn't look any different to the one your instructor is jumping ;) You go, girls!

I love seeing pictures of this gorgeous girl and yes those jumps are enormous

Tee hee thanks. Her legs are not very long but she seems to have hidden springs somewhere :)

gorgeous, I love a supercob :)

Thank you I count myself lucky every time I ride her.

Gorgeous photos, love her sparkly browband & pink saddlepad. Your second photo is particularly lovely with the autumnal shades in the background.

Thanks wish I had had her burnt orange le mieux on that would have looked really nice lol. :)

She's wonderful :-)

Thanks very much :)

Ha ha thanks. She's kind of the same but I'm kind of left behind (perfect shot into it and I still didn't believe she was going when she was going but anyway getting better very slowly).

Had her at the beach today to work on her canter and galloping as I don't have anywhere decent at home. She was amazing. 😍

Love those photos. She looks lovely. I was never a pony fan as such until started riding a 14.2 cob x appy. He is quirky but so much fun and has a massive jump. They are so much fun x

Love your posts about this cracking mare! She was so lucky to find her way to you. She always looks so well in the pics, it's difficult to believe that she is anything other than 100% healthy.

Aww thanks very much that's a lovely thing to say! I really think it's me who is lucky tho. I don't think you would be able to tell there is anything wrong with her unless you rode her and even then you probably would just think she needed a while to warm up, even at her worst. This is why I keep banging on about it because I think there will be many under performing/ difficult horses which are actually undiagnosed PSSM horses who are suffering.

She's gorgeous and what a jump!!!! :)

Thanks. I love her to bits.

Thanks. She was meant to be 15.1, bought her unseen, I'm 5ft8, but we get away with it. :)

She looks and sounds wonderful. I'm a cob convert, they are the best.

Thanks. I wouldn't have a bigger lighter built horse if it was a gift now :)

Lovely. I'm very jealous as I had to sit in an office and look out at our 'summer'!

Ha ha thanks. I work outside so it's nice to enjoy the summer at last.

Gorgeous cob, fabulous jumper!

you both look to be really enjoying yourselves :D

I also get wings when I jump my cob, although normally it's more like a catapult :D

This from yesterday inspired me today, haven't jumped in 4 years after a fall which made me think twice and since then only gone over 2 tiny cross poles in the school. But today put my brave pants back on and went out in the grass paddock and jumped a cross pole 3 times., it was teeny Not much but looking at your images reminded me of when I did actually like getting off the ground! The boy's ears pricked up and fixed on it the moment we approached as jumping is the one thing he'll make an effort for :)
