super flat close contact saddle

Hi, I'm new here. I'm looking for a really, really extremely flat close contact saddle. Does anybody know of such a kind? Can you give me a website address, email or a brand? Thanks a lot!

A bit out of budget but slightly more affordable than some - have a look at Style cross country saddles.

I fyou want a super flat seat, I think you'll have to look for one of the brands known to specialise in them. As said Butet is a good place to start, Devoucoux, Antares etc. You may have to up your budget slightly and look for one second hand? They do come up occasionally. I think Wow do a flatter seat and prestige do a flat-ish seat too.

Thanks. But is there no traditionally UK brand with also super flat seat. I mean the old style Crosbys, Campbells, Lancers, they where all super flat.

Style is a brand!? you'd still be needing to look at second hand but more likely within budget than a lot of the others.

Style is the brand, if you Google style saddles it comes up with a website which is something along the lines of crosscountryboots but there is a link to the saddles also. They are about £1200 new so still more than your budget but not as £££££ as some of the other flat seat brands mentioned. Good saddles too, I've had mine 15+years!

I was thinking about Crosby Prix de Nation but apparently they are only big in the US :/ Those are nice

i have a whitaker half synthetic saddle which suits my very flat backed mare well. not technically close contact but feels almost like one

I have a Bates Momentum which is as close to flat as you'll find in most of the affordable mainstream brands I think.
