Super heavyweight stable rugs?

Amigo used to do a brown insulator which was 550g not sure if you can still get them
Horseware though Rambo, Rhino.
Don’t shires have a really heavy weight. Swish? They have 450g turnouts and I think stable rugs too.

Looking for a super heavyweight stable rug. Ie 450g ish. I know premier equine do one but anywhere else?
You might be as well with a breathable, heavyweight turnout, tend to be warmer than designated stable rugs of the ‘same’ weight, and less issue with wet bed patches seeping up into the rug, too.
Plus, if really pushed for time one morning, or your unhorsy other half is standing in for you, could also let horse straight out to graze in it!

I've got a Swish 400g bought just before the beast from the east rolled up. It was worn then & under a turnout 2 years ago when we hit minus 14.

Takes up a lot of space!

Ooohhh thankyou. Will go and have a look. Currently in a 375g but moved yards and he is definitely colder here. Currently on box rest (yes I know that's a ridiculous amount of rug!) so thinking if back in work and clipped out the normal 375 with an under rug won't be enough. Plus, well new rugs fix everything!

could you not layer with a quilt or proper wool blanket? that keep them cosy & what a lot of racehorse trainers do as TB's can feel the cold (esp when they are carrying no condition and are racing fit)
