Ha ha she was a bit special... bless her although she wasn't much fun when she went bolt upright and stayed up in the sky for what felt like hours! Far too able..... the 3rd pic was when she was 7 or 8 i think at her first CCI 2* she got bored at the end and thought it would be amusing to add feet on all the fences! Not fun for me as seem to remember hanging on for dear life!

eeeeek. first one is Phillip Dutton, horse backed off first part of that (that was 2nd part) hugely and totally didn't make distance apparently, you can see how reluctant he is to take off. i was told he never rode it again after that fall...
not sure who second one is, horrible fall. tbh though neither illustrates the point - the fastest knees in the world wouldn't have gotten either of those out of jail, both had a horrible take-off etc.

I have the pic of the coloured in my sig/avatar - only at a HT though, and my position leaves a lot to be desired; let's just say i wasn't expecting a. the fences to be that big or the pony to give quite so much air at what was supposedly a 2'6'' course, for our very first XC. Whoops!
