2nd outing for youngster today
inhand at a local show
polished and prepped this morning, learnt not to do it the night before as only have to re-wash again in the morning! so started bright and early, chalk is now her new best friend
Loaded like a pro (2nd time ever travelling) no messing straight on and calmy walked off, had a bit of grass and a last minute brush. Walked over to the inhand and we had about 20 mins before our class, she did get a tad excited despite the show not being too busy. Led her about and she soon settled
Went into our class (driving type) and it was a strong class, 8 altogether. I didn't think we stood a chance but was pleased when we got pulled in 3rd!!
Next was the coloured class, didnt do as well and was placed 6th out of 7
still a very pleasing day, infact she has been a super girl all week so will have a nice chilled out day tomorrow with her pals in the field
planning our 2nd plod about on Tuesday
she started her *proper* backing with professional help on Monday and has been going lovely
Pic from today and Thursday (4th time properly under saddle - please note the head carriage is natural, she is very light in the hands and goes like this of her own accord)
Today - pretty girl
