Super Titchy the Wonder Pony

That is just gawjus! I've got a little shettie and the kids spend hours fiddling about with her (she doesn't seem to notice much- just puts herself to bed when she's had enough). I'm feeling quite inspired to get the poles out now...

You should! He was a pet and had not been ridden til about 2 months ago when we got him! I literally threw my daughter on (bare back in a head collar I didn't think it was rebellious at the time lol!) and went for a hack with him, then put a saddle on him then two more hacks before we went to pony club a few days later. This is his 4th rally and he just continues to amaze me. He really loves my daughter now as well, as does she him :)

He is fantstic, I know that some people don't agree with it, but I use the non slip matting stuff, for holding your plate in place in a caravan I think :) It works for mine when she is in fat mode and wearing the fat fit saddle :D

I will try that, thanks (it might even fit him lol). I don't think a cub saddle and some non slip matting can do him any damage anyway! I think he is loving his new job :)

I do like Titchy threads! He looks like he is wearing bedsocks as he trots along. The non-stick pads are good but feel weird to touch!

:D Every home should have one! What a great pair they make and well done to all of you, that's a lot of running for mum and probably 4 x as many bounces to the trot as the kid on the bigger pony!!!

He is fab! so cute and your daughter is so relaxed, how old is she?

She is three, he is five. Nothing phases him. I have dragged the wheely bin up the track with them in my other hand, and yesterday my dad started using a hammer drill while they were in the shed. Welshie was having a micro fit, Titchy was asleep. He is really an amazing pony and has brought my daughter on so fast since we got him at the beginning of the year. She had a standard Shetland who died frim acute grass sickness at the end of last year. She has always been brave on any of our ponies but in Titchy she is utterly fearless and even falling off is fun. The best thing is I don't have to worry about her falling off either, so I am completely relaxed as well.

Thanks for the nice replies guys, its nice to have folk to share the cute factor with :)

Yes and the instructors are always shouting FASTER when she manages to rise at all lol! Last time she would not try rising at all but we were practicing standing in stirrups between lessons and she really is getting it now (well, rise sit sit rise) :D

I keep meaning to set endomondo to see how much running it actually is. It's a great thing to take them to, and in the summer we are out on the xc tracks and the outdoor jumping arena apparently :D

Awwwwwww how sweet :D.
I love how daughter is so buisy looking at herself in the mirror she nearly wobbles off at one point ;) :p

Lol yes she was admiring her rising. I'm not sure how she doesn't fall off more when I watched it back she is looking precarious a lot of the time! Always a problem getting saddles to sit on Shetlands properly, and he is just so tiny!
