I noticed a few BS reports this morning which is great - we'll soon be catching up with the eventers reports!

Our old fellow was a good boy again on Saturday and had a double clear in the 1.30 for 3rd :) Son v chuffed with him as he is now on the Young Riders ranking list (albeit pretty close to the bottom!) and it was a good preparation for Blair later this week. Our novice mare had a fence in the Newcomers jump off for 4th so a good day all round :)

A few photos....

Thanks guys. The days of me jumping fences that size are long gone and the necessary elephant wouldn't jump that high...

Help1 - She is KWPN by Lux Z out of an Amino mare so bred in the purple. Containing her huge jump is the only issue as she jumps so big and has a ground covering stride despite being only 15.2/3hh.

Measles she is lovely - I have a littley KWPN he is probably just 16 hands by a Darco/Irco Polo Stallion out of a Voltaire mare who also has a huge jump/stride. I think your lovely mare she is similarly bred to another I know who is so talented.

You are never to old to get out again - I am positively ancient - although the thought of a course fences over 1m would have me running for the hills at the moment!!

Help1 - I find it fascinating to follow type, technique and attitude through bloodlines and would be interested to see the mare you describe. Your boy sounds super, too. We need some photos!

If I had time I would be out there doing something myself but when the children are young it is their time and I can get back to it in the future when they don't need me.
