Double clear and home on our dressage score to come 7th.... what a fricking legend!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Trucked off all the way to Warwickshire yesterday to Offchurch bury, new venue for us for eventing but I have competed there before back in my polo playing days!! Lovely course and I couldn't wait to get in that start box! 😃
Of course a trip to a new venue wouldn't be complete without getting epically lost first!! 🙈 Sat nav had me up the m1, back down the m1, down the a14 and back up the a14 due to not recognising the new road layout! Thankfully a quick phone call to a friend and I was eventually back on course and made it with just enough time to warm up for stressage!

Now I thought Beanz did a nice enough test one fairly epic spook 🙈 but other than that it was good.... I'm guessing the judge doesn't like pretty coloured ponies though as we scored a 39.3! Id like to say she was marking everyone harsh but the scores were ranging from 26-48 so I guess we were in the middle! I was a bit disheartened but heyho off to sj we go!

The course was very erm colourful!! 😂 😂 i wasnt sure if he would look at any of the fillers he doesnt usually but these were quite bright! Beanz made mincemeat of the lot and flew round for a clear!! 😍

My favourite phase up next!!! 😆 the xc..... The course look great, they had made great use of the hills and asked plenty of questions but he just ate it all up! 😍 and came home inside the time! It was causing carnage though, I was parked next to the warmup and control and there was quite a few problems on course at various fences!

Soooo much love for my awesome little horse ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Sadly once again I didn't hang about for the full results; i didnt think i would get anywhere tbh with our dressage score as there was quite a few people scoring in the 20s in my section, and by the time i was leaving they still hadnt put half the sj scores up and we had a 2.5 hour drive home so I'll have to ask nicely if the can send our rosette on.... one of these days i'll hang about long enough, but its quite a long day when your the driver, rider and groom!!

Just an add on here, on thursday we also manned up big stylie and not only went to our first ever BS show but we also jumped our first ever British novice class!! 😱

😍 super ponio as usual! Clear in the 85 clear round first and then clear in the BN until the jump off section where the silly rider took the turn a little too fast so we had both parts of the double down but we pulled it back together for the final few fences which were huuuuge!! 🙈 He made the jumps feel effortless, really feel like our jumping is coming together now!

here's some pics of our first BN!! sadly no pics from the BE as i need to stop spending money!! haha Next up for us is little downham 80.... and then possibly a step up to 90 in Aug :/

Ooh fab, you're both flying. Well done. You've had a fab season so far it seems. Whoop.

Thanks, yeah its been great so far, but all i'm praying for is a sound pony when we finish! its been a rough couple of years to get here!!

Wow! Well done, he's flying!

thank you! he is definitely starting to come into his own!

what a result! Well done (again!)

Love the SJ pics. Sound like that 90 is well within reach.

oh its definitely within reach, im just being precious with him, truth be told im just scared hes going break :( after all the bad luck ive had the last few years i just want to take him steady and see how far we can get! But yes i have a feeling i'll be sending in the entry soon for our step up, just want to pick the right venue :)

Super well done :).

thanks :)

Well done - he looks gorgeous!!!

Thanks! I'm biased but I think he's ace!!

well done, he looks great when he is jumping.....looks like a bit of homework on the dressage is needed and you will be winning !!!!!

Thanks we usually score anything from 33-36 so yes work is needed but he didn't do a bad test yesterday just think the judge didn't like us much!!

Lovely pics...

Well done :)

Fiona

Thank you :)

Wow he looks fantastic on those showjumps (even if he does seem convinced that he's actually in the 1.05 open :D). Couple of dressage tweaks and you'll be in with a shout at the top spot! Look forward to the report from your first 90.
