Superstitious?

I'm taking my new horse to her first competition on sunday - I've only had her since the beginning of December, but I'm pleased with how she's going. I've just had a text from the entries secretary giving me my times, and informing me that I am bridle no. 13! Just as well I'm not superstitious! Would this put anyone off?

I have had numbers in the past that I always do well with - number 9 & 16 are always good! I think numbers only affect you if you have good vibes from them (like 9 & 16 in my case) which might make you feel more relaxed & therefore ride a better test - or more nervous so you get tense & make more of a mess of things...

I am slightly superstitious, mainly with magpies though! I'm not sure if 13 would bother me or not tbh. Maybe if I saw a single magpie before the competition as well as being no13 i'd be thinking, oh dear!!

I can't be superstitious as my WB is branded with the number 13

I'm superstitious about Magpies, too! I think I'd be slightly nervous at being no 13, but I'd still enter!

I am superstitious about my new hat - I've not fallen off in it yet, but that's because I hardly dare wear it as it's so clean and pristine I'm certain to fall off in it!

i wouldn't be worried about the no13 but if i were to see a single magpie on the way to the show that would be a different matter.!!!

Have to say I have had number 13 now a couple of times and it's always been very lucky for me!

I rode at number 13 at windsor and qualified for HOYS so its my lucky number!
