supplement for mares

I use agnus castus and magnesium as my mare suffers with her hormones she is very nervous and highly strung tbx.Does anyone have any recommendations I hate seeing her uncomfortable.Certain times she hates her rugs and saddle being put on and bites the wall.
What has helped your mare and how long did it take to make a difference.I have been looking at naff oestress does it work.?

i use oestress, really works for my mare but her reaction to her seasons isn't as severe as yours

I had exactly same problem as you. Used oestress and results were visable within about a week!

Right straight off to tack shop to buy some in morning.She is so lovely to handle but hates being groomed or tacked up and touched when she is like this .Did you use maintenance dose or double dose for first week

How is she to ride?
I have same, tb x mare, who I cant ride when she is on season, she just broncs util she gets you off, the naf didnt work with her.. so I have to start ehr this year on regumate.
But shes lovely, so worth the expense and hassle.

shes ok ridden very forward going and nervous but have worked hard on this and she trusts me.She doesnt bronc unless I hold her back then its only in frustration.We have been taking youngster out and this has caused problem as his isnt very forward going .I have to go slowly this in turn is letting her look at things and then she gets the chance to spook. Shes discovered logs in the woods that we have passed hundreds of times, this week they are scary

she nearly had me off twice

friend couldnt believe I was still in saddle her spooks are enormous in canter

I couldnt buy oestress from local tack shop she only stocks global herbs so have bought the frisky mare plus .Can report back if your interested.
