Supplemental feeding - Solid Gold

I have had my boy on Solid Gold for a year now, and like it a lot. However, I am finding it increasingly difficult to get hold of. Can anyone recommend any alternatives? I know there is Top Spec and Equilibra, but not sure what they are like and how they compare. It is definitely important that whatever he goes on is not too high in protein, as energy is certainly something he does not need !!!!! he he

Personally I would give Top Spec, Equilibra and Blue Chip a call and see how their ingredients (especially the protein levels) compare to Solid Gold? Then you can feed whatever is nearest?

It is hard to get hold of, my local tack shop had problems with suppliers etc.

Thanks for your suggestion, not a bad idea, I think I will do some phoning tomorrow. Interestingly I couldn't find much information on the internet which was annoying - it is easier to compare when it is in plain writing in front of you!!
