supplements for a seasonal mare!?!!

Hi all,

My mare is good as gold normally but when she is season shes a pain in the behind! I dont feel in control of her and she is just completely 'tuned in' to the herd and takes little notice of my aids. Shes gets bargy and noisy and doesnt like to leave the other horses. Just wondered if anyone could recommend a suplement that has worked for their horses?

I've used oestress by naff for a previous mare who had terrible seasons and it works fantastic. I kept her on it all year round and couldn't recommend it enough

The herb Chasteberry (agnus castus) is the active ingredient in quite a few supplements. Maybe worth your while contacting/talking to some herbal suppliers to see if it might help your mare and her circumstances.
