What supplements do you feed to your arthritics ? I have been told that the Super Solvitax is good, but then again i have also been told that you shouldnt feed fish oils....

What does everyone use and find effective? Preferably one that doesnt provide extra energy.

Thanks :)

A/R mixture is a herbal product for Rheumatism and Arthritis made by a company called Herbalwise - it is very effective. website I think:- www.herbalwise.ie We have used it on old horses and on horses with arthritic changes and it was very effective and being herbal there are no side effects and you can compete on it etc.

Thanks i will have a look at both of them.
Ive tried no bute and it didnt make a difference, so im looking for something of a more lubricating type of support :)

There are loads. I feed mine linseed meal. Used to give rosehips but don't bother now as I don't think they do anything. By far the best thing is a good joint supplement. I feed Joint FX. Earlier this year I ran out and the horse went without for 2 weeks... by day 5 he was as stiff as a board. Took a good couple of weeks of being back on it for him to loosen up again.
